The plural of Prius is Priae. There sure were a bunch of Volvos in Greenville today and they do venture north in Packs.

I have visited two towns in Maine above the Volvo line! Those would be Farmington and Rumford. (Do those count?) The scenery in that area of Maine is super nice.

Wow, do I feel isolated now. 240+ miles and 4 1/2 hours further north of Farmington. I guess it's safe to say my address is a bit above the line.

Pssssst. we don't even get them as tourists up here.

So are those towns near the Volvo Line or above the Volvo line
I guess I am a little confused because Maine is such a large state

I was hoping that somebody would ask about or explain the packs of Subarus I sometimes see travelling 95 north around Portsmouth. Most of them head off towards VT though.
My neighbor here in Maine has a Volvo but it's from the 80's and just blew its engine, so there's one less....

Personally, after 20 years here, I had never heard the term "Volvo Line" before this forum. Couldn't tell you where it may be if the truth were told. Aroostook County is the butt of 90% of the slams I have heard in the state, so it is kind of nice to poke fun at the southern part of the state. Shoot even Washington County used to call us hicks up here. (Still may for all I know, after all we ARE hicks for the most part.)

The Subaru is generally related to the Volvo deal. In NH I see more Subarus in Belknap and Grafton counties and very few in Coos County. The liberal crowd, outdoor lifestyle crowd, college crowd, and some rural folks like them a lot.

The line is just a thing of pride. People that do not want to associate themselves with those dirty people from the southern part of the state. Us dirty people and our 4 door sedans.

I suspected they were similar types.....I'm not liberal enough with my money to buy one
