We would appreciate any advice/input regarding the relocation decision we are faced with. We will either be moving to Boca Raton, FL or the Westside of Los Angeles (probably Culver City). The job in Los Angeles is more professionally satisfying - the finances would be the same in both cities. Does anyone have an opinion about the ease of making friends and feeling connected to the Jewish community in the Westside vs. Boca? Any advice about where we would be more likely to find ourselves happy? Thanks so much!

boca is a resort town, and is absolutely DEAD off-season. if you want to live someplace where there is nothing to do half the year, and then you have to compete with tourists for the space when the sidewalks unfold, boca is for you. otherwise, LA's the place. culver city is a nice "small town," completely surrounded by urban LA.

(boca is beautiful, though.)

lots of jewish people on the westside of LA, especially westwood, beverly hills, and many mid-city neighborhoods.
