Also of course we won’t hear anything about this but what percent of these “homeless” in a place like pacoima are here illegally?

If there was more information released about how much is spend on illegal immigrants maybe so many wouldn’t be pro illegal immigration .

This is really incredible if you think about it . We are paying for the education of the citizens of other countries or the kids of citizens of other countries then on top of it now we’ll be housing them there is the cost of beds , utilities , i’m guessing food too ?

This is nuts . Even if they are all citizens which we know they arent this is a bad idea .

Jm I think that the amount of money being squandered and stolen has got the other groups like illegals scratching their heads trying to get at it PLUS they are miffed at competing for money that they had in their sights and now see slipping away to herds of life long criminals and mentally ill who have never worked and will never work!!

Historic L.A General Hospital might be turned into homeless and low income housing

—-
Los Angeles County is looking to reactivate the iconic high-rise structure. The motion, which is to be considered at this week's meeting of the Board of Supervisors, makes the case for the adaptive reuse of the General Hospital as a housing and mixed-use building to serve the surrounding community, which has "tremendous need" for homeless, low-income, and special needs housing.

Here's the NBC report regarding illegal homeless camp fires:

https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/l...500550111.html

So then, the law can't be enforced according to city hall since allegedly there aren't enough signs indicating that it's illegal to trespass on city property? So why were there not signs installed? Good grief...and was it five homes that were lost due to the Sepulveda Pass fire? And because the city couldn't find a few hundred dollars to install signs, and even after being alerted by residents that there were illegal camp fires and smoking in the dry brush areas? Seriously?

Lots of red tape in building housing for the homeless, although it sounds like a couple of proposals have a chance at breaking through some of it.

The sooner we build housing for homeless people, the sooner they can get off the sidewalk - Los Angeles Times

You are allowed by law to look these things up yourself ... it’s the information age.

What is the legal definition of homeless?
An individual may be considered to be homeless if that person is “doubled up,” a term that refers to a situation where individuals are unable to maintain their housing situation and are forced to stay with a series of friends and/or extended family members.

'.org' indicates they're a non-government entity -- government entities have a '.gov' suffix.

So? But you didn’t look up their definition obviously ... because it is quoted from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) ... here is the link to the definition from .org quoting .gov

https://www.nhchc.org/faq/official-d...-homelessness/

... because apparently you don’t know how to use Google search.
