Extremely safe and desirable. You're 4 blocks from the ocean. Wilshire Blvd is busy commercial street, but safe in Santa Monica. Montana Ave is a neighborhood street with restaurants, shops that's about as safe as it gets. It'd be hard for me to think of safer places in the LA area.

No connection though -- I took my moniker from the neighborhood in Tulsa, OK where I used to live (yes there are semi-cool spots in OK, though they probably pale in comparison to Cali, Santa Monica, etc.)
