State Farm. I can rx an agent if you DM where the property is.

If your a veteran I would highly recommend USAA. They can square you away with every aspect of your finances from home to vehicles to bank accountsThey not only are very courteous but they address you by your rank.

The broker I use for my homeowner's and car insurance is
George LaGrange at 631.629.4360

Have known him for many, many years, and he's got my P&C policies - he does a great job!

However, if you are a vet, I agree, definitely check out USAA--they are very competitive!

Absolutely agree. If your a vet or even if your parents were vets and had USAA they are hard to beat. I have had them protect everything from vehicles, Renters Insurance, and finally homeowners insurance. Customer service is fast and efficient and they also address you by your rank when you call which is uneccessary but appreciated.

FWIW, we just bought a house and (we are USAA members) USAA told us they would not write a policy for anything on the island. Neither would State Farm. I actually can't even remember who we went with... is that bad? LOL
