This is exactly what drama $#@!s do... call out one side for something like virtue signaling without any regard to how ridiculous it sounds in context... the Right loves empty gestures (AKA virtue signals) just as much. But, hey that doesn't fit your story so let's play pretend.

Confirmation bias in action... keep finding your own facts, really keeps you impartial.

Governor Hochul is a political figure. It’s hard to discuss our Governor’s action without mentioning a side. Logically, she is on a side.

If the post you don’t like is incorrect, please tell us why. It is amazingly inconsequential to use the post to simply rant that the politician’s opposition does it too. It serves no purpose other than to attempt to derail the thread.

Surely you can think of something that relates to the thread topic. Or maybe find a better thread to vent any political frustrations you harbor and simply must release.

I find Governor Hochuls vaccine mandate to be harmful to patients, businesses, and individuals in the State including Long Island and it’s 79 Nursing Homes. Vaccination is not more important than personal freedom, our economy, or having healthcare administer by learned, experienced and licensed professionals.

I feel so strongly about that that I will be voting for any candidates that are AGAINST the vaccine mandates, and any other considerations are totally secondary.

^^ Myself and many coworkers feel the same. I’m for vaccines but not forced!! Especially for those who already had Covid.

You'd need to define what you mean by "side" because I was pointing out that the post called out the Left without acknowledging all the virtue signaling from the Right. That's a different side then vaxxmandate or novaxxmandate.

Many people go out of their way to tell us that being for or against vaxx mandates is not politically aligned to a party... that people of all political ideologies are against vaxx mandates... you yourself have chosen a side and become a single issue voter... nothing else matters except vaxx mandates to you now... so if Bernie comes out against vaxx mandates, that would make you a full blown socialist... maybe they should put vaxx mandate stance on the ballots to make it easier for the simple minded.

Well, the only party I have seen demanding the vaccine be mandated, and not just mandated but requiring 100 percent, with no religious exemptions- which totally disregards the rights and beliefs that are supposed to be supported by our US Constitution - and probably the NY State Consritution as well, although I am not familiar with the NYS Constitution- are the Democratic Party which is the party in power in NYS and the USA at the moment.

Can you argue that vaccination is more important than adequate staffing, given the truths we know about vaccine longevity and efficacy?

I would not be against a ballot proposition, but I’m still focusing my upcoming votes TOTALLY on whether a candidate is for or against vaccine mandates.

A drop in the bucket some will say, these people were last year's heros, now they ar unemployed second class citizens.

Just wait until they tell these people who stayed, that they need a booster shot for Covid every year now, because natural immunity is not a defense for covid, if you get sick after you get the vaccine or booster you still need another one every 6 months
Now you're just throwing numbers around and hoping for failure for your anti-vaccine stance.

Yes we might need another vaccine shot, do you have a better alternative. No idea where you came up with 6 months, closer to a year, just throwing numbers around again.

We know the Left loves empty gestures (AKA virtue signals). The fact it is an empty and damaging gesture puts it at another level.

Might as well mask up the one-year-olds now and get a two-fer on empty and damaging gestures.

Wut?

This thread concerns GOV Hochul and her decision to fire healthcare workers (including Long Island healthcare workers) who don't obey the vax mandate.

So much of the same hyperbolic horses*it from the same 5 posters. Waaahhh. 2 years later, still playing some extended spine contorting version of the "hoax" card. All fueled by Broke and 30's repeat hourly upchucks. Like watching goldfish argue in a 1 gallon bowl about why the water smells like ****. Then one tells them it's the dog's fault and they believe it well because they have little goldfish brains and need something to believe in, it cannot possibly be their own **** that stinks, so they all blame the dog. Welcome to LICD forum 2021.
