Clearly, for reasons to numerous to list here, that's just not going to happen until there's a revolution that cuts your property taxes in half and cuts the utility rates an equal amount. Why would I move my business to LI, and pay the rising and already high cost of doing business in NYS and LI? Not going to happen.

If I were siting a new business, I'm looking for low taxes, good or improving infrastructure and low utility rates. This would give the business the edge it needs to pay reasonable salaries. While there are several places that leap to front of the list, LI comes in just about dead last or close to it.
