Wouldn't surprise me. It's competing with Mastic/Shirley and Deer Park/N. Babylon for the most junk food stores. Pretty sad.

Aside from Whole Foods, healthy doesn't sell.

That's not true. Look at Manhasset, Great Neck, Huntington Village, Down Port. Tons of quality restaurants and health stores.

Nice if you can afford it! Not everyone can you know.

Sorry when I was in my 20's and had disposable income and no children I could afford to eat out in Port Washington's fine dining establishments. Now I'd be happy if the North Shore had some more affordable dining establishments where my kids are welcome. I used to love Ayhan's and Louie's but don't get there too much nowadays. I find myself driving to the middle of the Island or South Shore to find family friendly places.

Sad soon all of the Island will look like Deer Park Ave.

Beats having empty lots and storefronts that stay empty for 10 years at a time.
