You're close to the city line. Probably a lot of people from Queens are heading your way. Brooklyn and Queens are not as good as Long Island for gas supply

Opposite in my observation. LI people tend to drive more than queens people so I noticed longer lines on the LI side than queens side of the border

Here in Suffolk, the lines are gone and stations are ignoring odd/even... so now it's time to raise prices... every station in my neck of woods is now a dime higher than yesterday.... Ah, to live on LI and pay the big bills.

The average gas price on LI is around $4.10/gallon. This is about $0.50 higher than the national average and about $.40 less than the highest priced gas in the nation, Hawaii at $4.40.

it would be silly for stations here to adhere to the even/odd anymore. No lines and available pumps everywhere. I just wonder if they have premium again.

$3.81 by me in East Islip.

Lines are gone, not even doing the odd/even anymore.

I saw long lines over the weekend, Guess most people dont fill up during the week. No lines since then, though I have still seen some with no gas.

Hess is my choice from now on, only stations that didn't gouge.

Same with BP - and both are same price, cash or credit.
Paid $4.499 for hi-test today at BP, get 1% back on my credit card, so cost to me is about $4.455/gln for hi-test...
