Are you talking about insurers illegally raising rates? Otherwise I disagree with your statement that any number of points can affect your rates, what are you basing that statement on?
The law says that insurers cannot raise your auto insurance premiums for a conviction of traffic code violations unless the violation(s) fits certain criteria, and occurred within a certain period.
