I am Russian, i know brooklyn is "nearby" but clearly would be nice if there was something closer, especially something that sold caviar.

Is there anything?

I checked the online yellow pages and all I could find for you was
Polish Town Corner Grocery Riverhead NY

It was listed under polish/ukranian/Russian food

I know your Russian but is polish food similar? If so there are many polish deli's in Copiague.

Karl Ehmer in Patchogue. Lithuanian bread, Hungarian sausage, Head Cheese, Polish pickles, but no caviar.

There is a store in New Hyde Park, on Jericho Tpke, right across from N 12th Street, that says outside "fresh store made pierogies, babkas, and more". Looks like a polish store, but I believe some of the foods, like pierogies, are quite similar, aren't they?
I noticed the store when I was waiting at the traffic light and any European goodies appeal to me... Did not see your post until after I got home, or I might have stopped inside to check for kaviar.

Just remembered, there's an IGA supermarket on Montauk Highway in Copiague, where Great Neck Rd ends (I believe), that has lots of Polish and a few other European delicacies!!

HMM i had no IGA had euro stuff, ill check that out . I sort of thought iGA was a "ghetto" market.

Ill check out the other places too, or ill try to.

I am looking more for ingredients, cold cuts and caviar of course, not premade stuff really.
