London rental websites (for sale, real estate, apartments)

Can anyone recommend any rental listing websites for London? I've recently been offered and will be accepting a short to medium term assignment in my company's head office in London. I'm mostly interested in Pimlico, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Kensington and Maida Vale/Little Venice. Any commentary on the various merits of each area would be appreciated as well.

Thanks, that looks like a fairly promising site. Will be sure to spend some time with it later on. I guess another question I have is in addition to rent, what sort of numbers can I expect in terms of utilities, etc.?

I just got back from apt hunting in London for a move in a couple months. My company referred me to Hampton's International (Tower Bridge Office) and they could not have been any more professional.

Thanks again. Both sites have been very informative. I will be going to London the first week of October, will be sure to spend some time narrowing down my choice of neighborhoods and perhaps view some apartments then. My assignment doesn't begin until January however my goal is to be settled in by Christmas.

i have a question..im from portugal and im looking to move to london, so i started visiting real estate web sites, when they say £334pcm they mean that the rent is that much per month??? sorry guys but i dont understand the short terms yet...
