US Resident Marry US Citizen in Canada (green card, marriage, ceremony)

I am Canadian and have a Permanent Residency Card. I am engaged to an American citizen. I am looking for information about getting married in Canada (where my family is) , and returning to California to continue to reside here.

I am looking for information about the logistics of having the marriage ceremony in Canada and making it legal in the US and California. I'm just finding information about marrying for a green card. That is not my situation.

Any help would be appreciated.

A Canadian marriage license is recognized in the states. Your logistics will be the standard wedding stuff -not immigration related - and organizing a wedding from 1000+ miles away.
