when I returned to Las Vegas I bought a new Lewis home and was totally satisfied....then Lewis was gobbled up [I believe by KB]....I personally would not take another chance on KB....fool me once etc etc but many people might be happy with them....

how about now in 2013? top 5 best and worst homebuilders are they still the same? actually I am more interested in the better homebuilders, can someone list them.

I'm on my second American West home--I like the house, workmanship was better on this one than the first.

Blue Heron pretty close to custom. Toll, Christopher. DR Horton builds some semi-custom that ain't bad. Then the volume builders. I don't think they vary very much. The expensive tracts are better than the cheap ones.
