When Oklahoma cracked down on illegal immigrants a few years back, many of them fled to neighbouring states. With Arizona doing the same thing now, I wonder if they will look at moving to Nevada and Las Vegas. If they do, how much of a strain will that put on the schools and other services? I remember when Hurricane Katrina hit and thousands of people who fled New Orleans ended up here in Cobb County Georgia and my kid's school had to put up a dozen trailers almost overnight to accommodate all of them. It was a bit crazy but eventually we absorbed them OK.

We already had the influx and outflux. They won't come back here because they know the job situation. They cannot do as they did before. Laws have been passed regarding that. I think they will just head to Texas. That's where most of their relatives are at these days.
Sure, some still arrive and hope they can get something. But they usually end up hanging around places like Star, Lowes or Home Depot, chasing after every car that leaves, hoping they will get picked to work at their home for a day.

No KevK, they will probably not flood LV. In my opinion, some may trickle in there, some may slide into New Mexico, and some may step into Utah and Texas. If there is any "flooding" to be done, It's gonna be in California. Some would be happy about that, some would not. Arnold, well, he'd probably have a big 'ol smile on his face!

I think some will, I hope NV follows AZ example and doesn't make it easy for them. I don't think any thing will change with the law here until after the election.

I thought they already had flooded here. Every time i drive by home depot it looks like they're having a fiesta. Not used to seeing illegals out in the open so much where I come from.

They are already here and not just coming from AZ, they come from California as well. Lets see if our local government have balls to tackle the same problem here in NV.

Don't forget all of the aliens that come from Area 51! They're easy to spot, they're all dressed like Elvis.

Without those illegals, you can expect to pay more for veggies, lawn care, etc. I owned a lawn care business in Phoenix and would stop by the daily work daily pay places for help; pretty rare to find a white guy willing to push a mower in 110 degree heat. Now I own my own repair shop and don't care if the guy comes from Mars as long as he shows up at 8am. Which I haven't been able to find, white or mexican, legal or illegal.
