We're already planning our winter break vacation and Vegas is one of our stops. In fact, we'd like to be there for New Years Eve. All the family friendly hotels seem to have a 4 person room limit, even though some have roll away beds. Our kids will be (nearly) 16, 10 and 8 at the time of travel.

Does anyone have any suggestions for places that will allow 2 adults and 3 children all in the same room/suite?

Thanks so much!

Try Circus Circus they are family orientated.

LV Blvd and Freemont street are blocked off on New Year's. You might want to try an off-stip property.

Also while your chances are low, you will be forced to get 2 rooms if you are caught sneaking 5 into the room. It's fire code laws.

I do not know about Fremont street, but the strip is blocked off for new years, but it is not for over 21 only. I have gone to the strip many times on new years, and you would not believe all the baby strollers and kids on the strip. This is even after midnight (no joke).

Besides it's only blocked from Spring Mtn. Rd. to Trop (?) so Circus Circus would be OK. But I wouldn't bring kids to Las Vegas on New Years Eve. Too dangerous. Too easy to get separated. The 16 YO maybe.

I hate to be the negative one here, but I wouldn't bring a kid, even the 16 year old, to Vegas on New Years Eve. With 300,000 drunks crowding together on the Strip, pushing and shoving, and a proportionate number on Fremont Street, your odds of getting separated are greater than not getting separated. The kids could get busted by the cops if you aren't right there with them at all times ...or worse.

If you do bring them, make sure you plan a rendezvous point before hand in case of separation, and maybe wear something bright that can be easily picked out in a crowd. And give everyone their own cell phone. The two little ones could easily be in danger of being crushed at times, especially if there is a fight or something. I've been in those crowds and I know how it can all go bad in an instant.

I'm just sayin...

New Years Eve is the worst time to come to Las Vegas.
