Which is the most popular casino/hotel in Vegas?

I'm thinking of heading there on December .

The worst payouts are on the Strip. They do have some fancy restrooms, though.

Define "popular". Just going by # of rooms, this chart should be useful:

Largest Hotels in the World - 20 hotels worldwide & Las Vegas

Note that if you add the Venetian and Palazzo together, you get 7470 rooms, enough to easily top the list.

Love " The Golden Nuggett " (downtown). Don't much care for strip hotels.

Kind of like asking "what's the prettiest color?" All subjective.

PS...my personal favorite is green (and my favorite LV hotel/casino is The Orleans).

Default Re:

Everyone has their favorite, you'll know yours when you see it and visit. There are so many on the Strip to visit, each with it's own unique theme (oddly enough, article about this in the Las Vegas Sun this week). Some people like big wide open casinos with that 5 star theme, others like the smaller more personal casinos that's less crowded and easier to navigate, others like specific dining the casinos have to offer, etc....

I prefer any casino that doesn't have obnoxious coeds yelling at the craps or blackjack tables when they've won back their $10.00! I like to yell when they serve me a $2.00 Corona downtown! YAY!!!! AFFORDABLE BEER!

IMO, nothing too grand about MGM...and The Flamingo is an old dame (fantastic pools in the summer, 'tho). For sheer beauty, check out The Venetian and Bellagio (IMO..the dancing waters is the #1 best free show attraction in LV!) First time, heh? You won't be bored....so much to check out. I have not been to Wynn, but someone I work with was very impressed. Try to rent a car...gives you freedom to bounce around and explore off The Strip. You can check out Red Rock Canyon for natural beauty...and The Hoover Dam makes a nice day trip. Have fun...and send my regards to the locals there.

Spell out some specific interests and questions here...there's good info to be had here from the locals, who, IMO, are some very nice people. Olecapt runs meetings (aka, DDO's)from time-to-time. If they happen to run one when you're out there, be sure to attend. Tell them jfkIII sent you...and you'll never have to worry about buying a drink!
