Subtle humor requires a certain amount of skill with language.

A clever fellow like you should know that.

I believe my home will be breaking ground around the 12th. The frame is going up fast on the corner lot.

There are actually two corner lots whose framing is going up fast. They are just on two different streets. Mine was supposed to break ground the 5th but now it is supposedly the 12th as well.

In the LV Sun today:

Sports complex proposal in Henderson a 'done deal' - Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 | 2 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun

If near the M Resort, it will be very close to this development. More details to come. I'm all for it if they can bring an MLS team to Vegas.

I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. Although this article in the RJ says it is definately NOT a "done deal" so go figure...

You saw it here first people:

Here is a "staff review" of the proposed stadium project, and where it will be located ... appears to be about a mile south of the M Resort.

Hope this information is useful (takes a while to load).

Do I read the maps correctly that Executive Airport Dr would extend further south and pass next to the stadium site, and then west to connect to I-15? And there'd be a shortcut from Anthem Parkway and the south end of Inspirada on Bicentennial Parkway to Executive Airport Drive (and thus to I-15)?
