I am sure many of you have seen the stripmobile on the news.
Basically, DejaVu stripclub runs a truck up and down the strip with live stripers appearing in the back of the truck through glass sides.
It was just ruled as a road safety hazard so the county just grounded it.

They should also outlaw those mobile/rolling billboards that cruise the strip.

I think you will find it is a "they came to a consensus" thing rather than a county ban.

It is pretty complex to ban any vehicle from a public highway anymore a state route. One of the reasons they have problems regulating the rolling bill boards. Don't kid yourself...the county would ban those things in a minute if they could figure out how.

IMO, it cheapens the Strip. Even those hawkers on the Strip pushing discounts and non-sexual fliers. It adds a Tijuana/Revolution Avenue flavor to the Strip. It's not necessary.

Here we go again. Anyone ever hear of the Constitution? If you want freedom for yourself you gotta give a little to others that you don't necessarily like.

That is kind of humorous. Everyone always ******es about the government and wants them to stay the he11 out of their lives, but then they want the government to crack down on other people doing things that they don't like.

This was becoming a national story - it was reaching people that wanted to come here to see the stripper mobile. The story was a great reminder that yes 'Vegas is still out there' and operating as Sin City despite economic troubles. Now you cancel yet another little novelty and once again demoralize that base of tourism. Way to go Vegas - might as well just turn City Center into a mega-chuch and give it up already.

Totally agree with the spiff. The stripper-mobile was pitch-perfect advertising for over the top "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas" tourism. Now y'all are a bunch of fuddie duddies.
