I have been to Laughlin one time. I never wanted to and never will go back again.

Friendlier people, cheaper rooms in Laughlin. A thorn in the side of the union establishments. The river is beautiful. Today's Washington Post has an ad by Travelocity. Four star hotel rooms in Vegas for 46 bucks per night. www.travelocity.com/sale (broken link). BHC/Laughlin real estate hasn't been hit nearly as bad as LV. I will take Reno over LV, as well.
