We've had three visits to Las Vegas in the past 4 months and have eaten at some really good restaurants. Here is my review not in any particular order:

restaurant food service cost overall comment
NobHill +++++ +++++ $$$$ +++++ wife's fave
Rainforest Cafe + ++ $ + ugh
Olive's +++++ +++++ $$$$ +++++ nice
Fiamma ++++ ++++ $$$ ++++
Emeril's +++++ +++++ $$$$ +++++ mothers fave
Grotto +++ ++++ $$$ ++++ nice pool view
Craftsteak +++++ ++++ $$$$$ +++++ shortribs
Capital Grille ++++ ++++ $$$ ++++
Wofgang Puck +++ +++ $$ +++ quik n easy

I appreciate all your suggestions, keep them coming. We'll be back to try some new restaurants in a couple of months.

Try the shortribs at TBones at redrock you will think you are in heaven they are an appetizer for 38.00 or so but could feed 2 with one ordering soup and the other a salad. you should maybe call ahead and see if it is on the menu everynight.

I ate at the restaurant attached to sports bar at Aria. The service was very very good (our server was Richard). Menu is your usual sports bar stuff dressed up a bit (truffle oil and herb french fries, etc). The food quality was good, slightly overpriced but certainly no worse than BLT Burger at Mirage.

I would like to suggest Bonefish Grill in Henderson for those who have never been, but like seafood. It is a small chain from Florida, and is very good. They often have reasonable specials. I lived in Florida for 8 years prior to moving here two years ago and was thrilled to find Bonefish. I wish they would open a location over on my side of town.
