How deep does your pool have to be to put a slide?

I think at least 8 feet, but first check w/ your insurance company. Some will not cover, or raise your premiums significantly, if you have either a slide or a diving board because of increased risk.

I think that would definitely depend on the height of the slide.

Do not- I repeat- DO NOT install a slide on a pool that hasn't been specifically designed for it. Slides are a huge liability, and many of the bigger companies won't even install them, regardless of the depth (and more importantly, the width) of the pool.

I also had the same problem with pool depth according to the slide length. Actually it has some kind of rules and regulations. I tried searching the net for answers and I ended up with this Section 820 hope it will help
