Kwesit10,

Small world isn't it. I was hired as the Hotel Supply Manager at Aria. I was working at the Niagara falls casino as a Facility Manager.I live south of Buffalo( North Collins) I wanted to move to get out of this cold wet weather. We rented a house in Green Valley and used a rental agent because you do need to be careful with forclosed housing.Congrats Jewelsinthecity it was a long time comming.JFKIII I to wanted to see Joe Torre and the Yankees in the series. I think he is a great Manager. Well everyone who will be working in the city center, look me up I will be working 9.00am-5.00pm Sunday-Thursday. Good Luck

Does anyone here knows how long did Airics went in the process? Did he do all of the interviews plus drug test and what was his status before he received the rejection letter? Also what does his status says now?

I heard this story from a ex coworker that I ran into this afternoon. She applied for a Pit Clerk Position at CC and was given a job offer the first week of Oct. She went in last week to sign the job acceptance form and pick her days off. Last Thursday she received a phone call from the hiring dir telling her that they have to now rescind the job offer. She received a letter in the mail yesterday explaining that the position was eliminated due to a staff auditor’s conclusion that the dept over hired for the current demand expected for the CC grand opening. I hope this is a casino games dept issue also so the rest of you in other departments don’t have to worry about this.
If this does happen to you, it’s not the end of the world. If you’re unemployed, gaming and hospitality in Vegas is starting to pick up again slowly. I have noticed more front of the house service positions going back to full time instead of on call or part time from nine months ago. Just keep your’ chin up high and keep beating the bushes until someone hires you.
