its in my area, its secluded, very convenient to shopping and the Silverton as well as the Strip, but i think its only a temporary spot of course since its an RV place, they also have a dog park, i've never been inside and i don't know much about RV Resorts so i can't help you much in the RV Resort factor of it, its also very safe

I left Las Vegas about 5 months ago. We are avid RVers and at this time we are full timers.

What I can tell you about Oasis is it is very very expensive. In addition to the extremely high rates they charge tax on the fees. I been RVing all over America for about 25 years and never heard of a campground charging tax. It is a first class all the way 4 star resort though. How wealty are you?

They also discriminate against Class C owners. Non are allowed. Class A only. They have an age limit on your rig and if it is close they tell you that you can only stay there upon approval of management inspection. You will not find a more stuck up bunch in there. And as a fellow RVer you know RVers are some of the most friendly people in the world. I doubt you will even find a Good Sam member in there. They are much too good for Good Sam.

Go check out the KOA next to and that is owned by Circus Circus. You will still be on the strip and there is a covered air conditioned walkway into the casino. Its still a tad high priced but hey, its Vegas and its the strip. If you dont mind being off the strip and if you have a toad with you then try Sams Town. You will never find a cheaper RV park. Off season you can stay there for $14 per night and it's a pretty nice place with the casino right there too. There is one more RV park on Nellis right up from Sams Town but I forget the name. No matter, they discriminate too. No dogs, no kids and no one under 55 allowed in the park.

You can go to Laughlin, Nevada to AVI Resort. Nice place too. Better yet though is to cross the River to the AZ side. The RV parks there of which there are quite a few all have signs in the offices saying how their town is RV friendly unlike Vegas. They all brag to stay as long as you wish. LV city council adopted horrible rules for RVers thereby chasing many away. Oh yea the city made it illegal for you to park in Walmart which is private property last time I looked.

Finally its a fact that Las Vegas is NOT RV friendly. It is one of only a handfull of RV parks in America who place a 2 week limit on your stay. Some full timers go from park to park every 2 weeks to beat the system.

So my advice is look at the Circus Circus KOA or go to Sams Town and take the toad to the strip.

Happy RVing.....

Default Oasis Resort

I take my family to the Oasis RV Resort in Las Vegas every Easter vacation week fo the last 5 years. The oldest is now 20 years old--we also have twins that are now 13 years old. We all enjoy this mini vacation. What you see in the pamplete is what you get. Worth going to. Close to all of Vegas attractions--by trolly or taxi. I rarely drive once I'm there.

Wow what a diff of opinions. A full timer who appears to have done lots of homework, not to mention many posts, gets my vote. And wow, Circus Circus, you can stay right on the strip in an RV? Who knew? Good Luck gAILSY and Welcome.

Before I moved to LV, I stayed at the Circus Circus RV park in a van conversion for 2 days. Only bad part was, it was 100+ when I woke up sweating my butt off. Other than that, I liked the convenience of it all. And it was cheap.
