Went down to the M today to place a small bet on tonites game. Signed up for their players card and got a free t-shirt. So did my wife. We then entered the free weekly football contest. Before leaving stuck a $20 bill in a slot machine. When my wife was down to $6 she hit for $125 so we cashed out and left. The place is beautiful. All and all is was a great 20 minutes. Oh. hope the Saints win by more then six and both teams score more then 48.5. If not still up a $105 and 2 t-shirts!!!

Hope you didn't bet your slot winnings on your parlay. It doesn't look good, but it's still in the first half. Was the book busy?

Yea I am gonna lose the over part of the bet for sure. I hate parlays and now I remember why. The lure of easy money. Like I said that puts us up $85 with the shirts after redoing my calculations. The book was dead quiet with a few people in the casino. I just wanted to let everyone know how nice the place is and that for signing up for a players card you get a free shirt and a weekly entry to the football contest. I really don't gamble to often so I don't know what else I will get out of the card. The M will get some word of mouth business from me and I will go watch some games there and plan to hit up the buffet next week. I'd like to be able to use the pool once in a while.

My favorite buffet compared to all local casinos in town. Very good quality and includes beer and wine. Good deal.

Enjoy it while you can, the M is reportedly up for sale and most likely will end up being the next Boyd property. If reports of low profit margins in the buffet are true (I even heard they were close to just breaking even with it), Boyd will probably make it look like the rest of their buffets where they generate a healthy margin with just so so offerings.

Barona in Lakeside? That is for sure a good one! Wish I was there.
