Two lesbian woman friends thinking about moving to las vegas. We are not into the bar scene at all, too many games and too much drama) so we were wondeing about possible groups for woman to meet other woman that have nothing to do with the bars scene. What does vegas have to offer single lesbian women that avoid gossip and drama at all cost. Also wondering about cost of living, renting, buying ect.. and areas to aviod?

cost of living-slightly above average but not as expensive as Cali

renting-if its an apartment you are wanting to rent, there are entire threads on this

buying-Best time to do this, again, there are entire threads on this

two lesbians-You should make a seperate thread on this.

People in Vegas do the same things as people in Chicago. They work, go to school, church, the library, and the grocery store. People who live in Vegas very seldom go to the strip unless they work there. Once you get away from the tourist areas it's not that different from anywhere else with palm trees!

There are lots of families with kids and there are sports teams and pretty much all the activities you are used to. I don't have kids so I never looked at places to live with that in mind.
The difference is that the people in Chicago have class, while in Vegas you have so many people that are just "drifting".

I am sure there a plenty of people in Chicago with no class. Why do you think blanket labeling of people who live in Las Vegas is productive and/or useful?

In 6 years when he is fed up with Chicago, and moving back to Vegas, he will post his hate.

I'm sure the freezing ice packed winters will warm any heart.

I realize that these posts are from 2007, but I got quite a kick out of them this evening.

full = fool???

sespool?

where out of here?

And of course, this loser refers to others as retards.

Can you imagine this "full" attempting to help his kids with their English homework?

Have you noticed that it is usually the most illiterate posters who not only hate Vegas, but appear to be complete failures at life in general?
