most of Las Vegas pleases me, I love where I live now, I can pretty much get anywhere in the valley in 10-15 minutes because of how close we are to I-15, plus we live near 2 malls...

Having grown up in Las Vegas, I can say that they only place in the valley that I would even consider living now is Henderson. They have the best government in the state & many of the top schools.

All I can say is WOW. I came on here because of work. I was looking for a safe place to stay for a few months or so. Make some money and go home. All city's have bad areas. Thats why I came here but the sounds of things it just doesn't seem safe anywhere there. This is pretty sad.
So I guess I'll find work else where.

Read the threads again you missed something. The majority of the town is quite safe. Part of that is as safe as any urban area in the US. There are bad areas but they are few in number, geographically isolated and not very bad by US standards.
