there are plenty of stores on Rainbow just south of 215 as well as at Durango/Warm Springs and if you go a couple miles east, there's also a shopping center at Arville/Blue Diamond...the shopping is up and coming with much opening every other week...

Good area. Hit hard by the foreclosure mess. Check carefully that your town house owner is not going belly up...

Schools suffering from over crowding though it is beginning to get fixed. Note that the community has mostly hunkered down to get through it OK so it may turn out pretty well.

You will also discover dust is a way of life. The new construction does that.

Traffic tends to be a pain. Just head toward civilization and it get better.

I agree with the above post. one of few spots in Las Vegas where every third house is in or going to be in foreclosure. Its masterplanned community, SID costs are $1000 to $1200 dollars a year in addition to association costs. Schools are not established yet, mean some are relatively new ones.

Are there any churches incorporated in mountains edge?

Does having a church, purchase property near you help or hurt the value of your property?

i don't know if it helps or hurts, but by living near so many churches and schools, the traffic from these places will aggravate you...

Nearby? Probably a minor plus.

Nextdoor? Likely a minor detraction.
