House of blues is excellent for lunch.

everytime I visit Las Vegas, I have to include one night for dinner at Sir Galahad's in Excaliber.

I know most locals probably avoid the casino/hotels, but the atmosphere and the food there are fantastic. YUM

Guess I just love good prime rib, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes (instead of the same old boring baker) , and the best damn beef barley soup I've had in a while. We have taken guests there and everyone has loved it !

When I move there next year, I'll decide on the others. Right now, I'll stick by my old standby

KWAA ~

Many of the restaurants mentioned in this thread are gone. Becker's and the Tillerman are two of them. It was so bad during the worst of the recession that my lunch buddies and I started calling places to make sure they were still open. At least a half-dozen times we showed up at a restaurant and it was gone.

Default Eating out

Please keep this going b/c I just got a condo in Vegas and went to a place that was HORRIBLE and has 4 stars on yelp. Unless I was wish to spend a ton, not just casual I found no review overs 4 stars. Thanks for your insight. Oh, and in LA or other big cities, this would have gotten 1 star. I fear this may (?) be the first time yelp won't be of help b/c the reviews are false or from people visiting from Iowa, etc
