Hello there my friends, here's an update:

I took offer #1, and they already started the relocation program, but what a reality check for me:

Turns out that I have 3 choices concerning my house:

1. Get the lender to approve a short sale and to keep my credit untouched I need to come up with the difference in cash at the time of closing

2.- Get the lender to approve a short sale and not pay the difference amount, this will ding my credit.

3.- Let it go in to foreclosure and have a shot to a new home in about 7 years?

There still some question that maybe the gurus here can help me since I'm not that experienced in this field:

A).- How do I get my house to put on short sale if the lender will help only if I'm behind my payments? Do I stop to paying my mortgage?

B).- If I choose to kep the house, how can I get a loan modification?

C).- Is it true that you need to prove that did all you could to sell the house and be put on the market for 3 months and then send keys to lender?<< This comes from some one that lost his house about 6 months ago, he says that just wait out 6 more months and he will be able to get a new loan?

My God so many questions!!

Thanks.

Yeah, you leave me in charge because everyone else moved away along with you.

I wish you and your family good fortune and a happy life out in San Diego. It's a wonderful place to live and very nice out there. Maybe you will come back someday. Have a safe trip and drive carefully.

Ouch.. leaving NV to move to Taxafornia. I feel for ya.. I really do.

Someone could offer me a job with a salary of 1,000,000 a week, free food, and housing and I would tell them no if it meant moving back to Kalifornia.

I do wish you luck however.. and don't forget.. if the job working.. you are always free to move back. Your happiness is worth way more than money.
