Frank & Fina's Cocina is also popular with the locals in the SW area. I thought it was alright. Better than Ricardo's.

Looks like it closed last August. Wow, after 59 years too.

What cross streets? I haven't heard of that one. Maybe I'll try it.

We tried it a while back. It was all right but not exceptional. It is on Grand Canyon south of Flamingo.

We stick to the Michoacán Gourmet Mexican on Tropical or the small El Burrito Mexican which is family owned and been there for over 20 years. Located at Del Webb and Rampart. We still use the waitress who provided our first meal on becoming Vegas residents two decades ago. Has a couple of things like a macaroni soup that cannot get enough of.

I liked Michoacán Gourmet Mexican best for awhile until I saw them on dirty dining last year. I was sorry to see that. I try to avoid anything that makes dirty dining. I always look up if a place has been shutdown first. Too many other good options to waste my time.

ICYMI El Dorado Cantina did a pop up spot at Tivioli Village if people out that way want to try it. My favorite Mexican food place was in Tivioli. Upon our return to Las Vegas I was sorry to see it has moved out. I believe it moved into one of the Station Casinos but I forget which. They had the best queso.

La Bonita Supermarkets has really good tacos in the cafeteria area. All the tacos are under two dollars I believe and pretty good

You'd think on a Taco Tuesday Cinco de Mayo all the taco trucks in town could have gotten together for a taco truck parade route during quarantine in different areas of town. Tacos all day! They had one chance.

Also I've started seeing food trucks pop up in grocery store parking lots and mama likes it. They're good ones too like Maine lobster sandwiches.

It's always like that on Charleston. I actually had a horrible set of tacos at the strip a while back and a pretty mediocre set another time, not sure why they are different. Maybe the drunks don't care what they eat.

The one on the strip has been open. We went just last week or the week before. Can't remember exactly but there was like 2 people in line so it was a no brainer.
