For about a week now, my cox internet has been intermittent at best. Anyone else think this could be intentional in an attempt to get cable cutters back?

From June till August my internet was unusable. After many visits cable and equipment changes I finally sent a message to the CIO in Atlanta Kevin T Hart He had a guy in Phoenix kick some Ass and checked service levels. Since August it has been perfect. The problem is definitely their end. I messaged him through Linked-in and do not have an email address.

My internet went out for short time on Sunday but I don't think it was a plot to get anyone back to cable. Other than that it's been reliable.

My main email account has been down since Dec.6, and I have done nothing to change it. They did something. My secondary email still works. What did these buffoons do to my email??? I cannot even access it at their site. the only thing that was different the day it went down, a big Cox truck parked in front of our house all day. Coincidence? i have really important things in there that I cannot get.

I have had intermittent problems recently. Cox sent out a technician who told me that there is construction in the area which has affected the network.

I dont know but my husband contacted them because the internet wasnt as fast as advertised and they offered him cable and internet for 2 years $80 p/month. He said the internet speed would be a little slower but that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Did you try calling GoDaddy or whoever is your host? Usually when I have a similar problem like what you speak of. And I can still get on the internet, its a Godaddy issue. And they are very helpful, impressed with their cusotmer service.

I have a brand new modem and I used to install cable for cox.
I wired my house with all new wire and fittings. I still have issues with cox. I'll get 100mbps one speedtest and 1.4mbps on the next. Sometimes I can download at 3 or 4mbps other times fractions of that. This is at ALL times of day and night. Someone is awake and online 21-22 hours a day. I go to bed around 5am wife gets up at 7am.

Mine has been all over the place speedwise. nothing close to the 50 mbps that they promise. Usually between 5-21 on a good day.I would say the average is 14-18. I get a lot of interruptions daily.
