Well that's great news! I'm glad we can agree to disagree. I'm not positioning this conversation/thread to exploit my business. However, I do enjoy the information from the locals. You guys (olecapt, sheriff, buzz123, MomMom) seem like a spirited bunch. You really know your city (other threads).

YES, we do...and it gives us the right to brag or complain about anything in our city...

Even tourists

Here here "MomMom"!!! I couldn't agree more. You must have pride in your neighborhood!
I hope to move and meld into this framework you guys have created.
I'm renting a movie over the weekend that will offer some insight into your community; "Bugsy"...from its inception.
I know this is somewhat fictitious. It's a start...

I believe there are two REPOs for sale on Bugsy Siegel Court...you can really get with the program.

While getting with the program resist critizing the "regulars" until you have enough demonstrated insight to give your views some credence.

Last advice from me until you cross over to the local side of the list.

Note however that I reserve the right to hit you full face with a pie if you continue to show bad manners.

Once again I apologize for the misstep in progress for your community. I like pie; however not in the face of progress, but on my plate. The humor comes in a renting of a fictitious movie.
The last thing I want to do is start a rebellion of myself.
Please don't misunderstand me.
I accept the generous well being of the citizens in "your" community and look forward to a challenge in keeping with traditional growth. Albeit; a change in right direction and positive outcomes.

As a long-time resident of LV, I used to slam those who quoted the Bugsy thing as an envision of LV--as there were many other joints, and in fact, he took over the Flamingo from Bill Wilkerson. But in reality, his touted vision is really what LV has become---Los Angeles (Hollywood) East.
