4K TVs are pretty reasonably priced now days. Under $1,000 for 50" Smart 4K TVs. $500-$700 for dumb 50" 4K. Just need some content now.

You will need to show a business license and a business card along with id..

The 4k computer monitors do interest me. They are great for photo editing, and are not much more than a standard HD monitor.

I didn't misrepresent myself. I have all that if I need it, but bringing the actual physical business license seems excessive to me.

I have a temp agency assignment at CES .

They told us that people with confirmations just have to show their photo ID, then we scan the bar code on the confirmation, hand them a badge and away they go. People with 'conditional' registration must go to a REGISTRATION area and show the required documentation to a supervisor.

The registration process requires you to input a business name and specifically states that you must be able to prove you are in an affiliated trade:

Attendance Requirements
The International CES is a trade-only event for the consumer technology industry and not open to the general public. All attendees must provide credentials in advance to verify affiliation with the consumer technology industry and must present a government-issued photo ID upon arrival to the event to pick up a badge.

So just any old business license and/or business card won't work. You have to be in the consumer technology industry.

When I went to the Gift Show in Los Angeles, I had to show 2 forms of ID which identified me as in the retail business. At that time, I had a business license and a resale number, which is what they used.

I don't see how I could get in without the credentials they are requiring.

Ah, and so they are. Anywhere from $75 to $120 a piece. And with your own name on them. Well, I don't want in bad enough to pay scalpers for a pass.
