The company has just introduced the new Taser C-2, marketed to men and women who want to protect themselves from danger.

"Perpetrator comes at me. I quickly slide back the safety. You press this button here -- off go the two probes. They've gone now into the suspect," said Tuttle.

At the push of a button, a perpetrator is incapacitated for 30 seconds. An electrical current flows through the body.

"People can fight through pepper spray. They can fight through an actual baton strike. You can't fight through this," adds Tuttle.

A Taser-proof vest is simply any ordinary vest with aluminum window screen or any other elecrically conductive material sewn to the outside(so the vest keeps the wires off your skin). You would probably then want to sew a shirt to it to conceal the protective layer so cops don't just aim the Taser elsewhere like a gun at someone in a bullet-resistant vest.
