I'd like to gain some skills and switch jobs. I don't have several years to go to school and then get a job. I need a job now. I know there are apprentice programs out there I'm having trouble finding them. I'm willing to start at the bottom. Plumbing electrical sheet metal pipe fitting anything. Something work while you learn.

Sorry for the lack of punctuation the area of my screen with the comma is not responding.

Unfortunately, you can hardly step out of your door without tripping over a union here. But thank god they're still here, or we'd be working 20 hours a day in sweat shops, chained to radiators still...

Unions should be banned in Nv----aren't you now working at a union shop---72 hrs/wk, for less than minimum wage?

If not for the culinary union, the quality of life in this town would be worse than it is today. For everybody, not just union shops.

While some unions have damaged businesses beyond repair, and many are inefficient groups that reward longevity and politics more than competence, they are still a necessary evil in LV.

Extreme, besides looking at the unions, look at CSN's programs. You might be able to get some grants and loans that wold make suppoting your family while working part-time possible.

The taxi companies here are ruthless. I feel sorry for their employees, and customers.

I'll let you in on a fact---while you may not belong to the union, the union represents all drivers at your company---you included.
