Anyone else having issues with cox internet hanging and not working. Web pages not fully loading or taking forever to load? I went to a relatives house recently and they were having the same issue.

I'm not having issues at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if you are. It's so hot today, there might be either a ton of people indoors playing on the internet or the Cox equipment might be overheating. Disclaimer--these are just my theories.

I recently had my internet upgraded. When the tech came out to install the new modem, he ran a diagnostic test to check the signal strength of all lines within my house. Some of the signals were weak and not in the ideal range. He said this can cause pixelation while watching HDTV and slow internet speeds, especially when it's hot. The fix was simple. He installed an amplifier (free). Everything has been fine since. It might be worth your while to have Cox check it out.
