The word in the nightclub world is that they severed ties with Nikki beach because of 'questionable' payment tendencies for the talent.
...on the Tropicana part...not the mgmt company.

LOTS of unhappy x-employees there.
They chose an interesting exit plan. They advertised Lil Wayne on fight weekend Saturday and Nicki Minaj that past Saturday. They couldn't produce either celebrity, and pocketed the inflated cover.

I know FOR A FACT they ripped off 3 VIP hosts.

Shady place that old Trop turned out to be.

This makes sense. I was wondering why some of my Facebook friends were complaining about artist not showing up on the strip.

Last time I was there, a huge sexy picture of Toni Braxton was draped over the front of the building, including the hotel windows. Our GO room just happened to land on her left nipple with a nice view of the fountains diagonally across the street. My wife and I had tickets to see her, but she had cancelled all her shows that week, due to some throat problem...maybe she was swallowing too many swords? Anyway when we obtained our refund, the guy in the box office said she was constantly cancelling shows left and right. That was back in 2007...so they were even having issues with entertainment then.

That wasn't the Trop, that was the Flamingo.
