I can't believe I finally got a house, after I was "outbid" on 3 previous offers - so different than the northern suburbs of Chicago!
I am so very looking forward to living in your wonderful area!
So much to do....especially since I'm disabled. Really hoping the dry heat will help with some of the pain.
Some of the things on my check list that I've never had to deal w/before, but have seen in this forum: Water Conditioner; ROS? System, Paying for trash pick up (all included in taxes here). Cable for internet -- Satellite better for TV (currently have phone/internet/cable bundled. Do not stop, do not pass go, go directly to car inspection and then to DMV. LoL, ok, this one really gets me. Don't hire a national moving company -- pods or fill it yourself and they move it better.
My biggest concern? Relocating 3 dogs and 2 birds. (Oh, and the 2 cars - lol.)
Can't wait!! Suppose to close end of February. At the rate I move, I should be there by Christmas!
