My son is learning his lesson about tats right now. He got a tiny tat of a couple of lightning bolts meant to represent his Aquarius birth sign behind his ear. Now, the white supremacists have adopted the lightning bolt symbol. He's now walking around with a symbol of everything he can't stand (intolerance) inked on his own body.

You want self-expression? Buy a friggin T-shirt.
add the word Chargers and your good to go...

My family are tattoo afficienados and I think women with tattos are very sexy.. (Depending on what the tattoos are) And usually only women would find that the tats take away from the clothing... Most Men do not really care...

People have been getting tattoos since time began.. And many many people who you would not think of being inked are and some quite heavily....

True you really should get something you can live with until you die..(Tattoos last roughly 6 weeks past your drop dead date)

Some people collect art on their walls or in cabinets..We collect it on our bodies...

And just like graffitti artists, some tattoists have more talent in them than many a "real" artist......

Can you cite the scientific poll that determined MOST men don't care?
What percentage defines MOST? 51% 80%...99%...???

I for one don't care for them at all...

FWIW it's spelled tattoo.
...but then again, I'm not one an aficionado!

Gotta add to the men don't like them percentage...my husband can't stand it. I know quite a few who can't actually. A nicely done one or two is not bad, but the sleeves and necks and such...nope, nothing sexy about it, IMO. In fact, I can't even see what would be sexy if it were not all inked up.

That said, some of the art is phenominal to be sure.

There seems to a correlation with Mug Shots and neck tattoos. Have only one of these? Your likely to get the other soon.

And anything a woman has tattooed on her lower back is called a "tramp stamp."

I used to be the dress code enforcers for a popular night club. The guy outside determining who got in etc. even before you got in line to be ID'd.
One of the dress code items was NO TATTOOS ABOVE THE COLLAR

Once they added that one to the list there weren't anymore fights inside.

I'm not a lesbian, but I have an opinion about the female body. That gorgeous length of skin, the way she rocks a dress.. women are beautiful and I really dislike seeing that marred up by tats. It's only an opinion, but I really like to see a pretty girl unmarred by ink.

I'm not a fan of piercings either. An ex-boyfriend of mine once said " That kid looks like he fell into a tackle box face-first"

I was an old school punk back in the day, but we didn't mar ourselves up with tats and other permanent nonsense. We had bad hair and silly clothes and we danced funny.

I guess I should get to the point. Vince Neil can go have a nice day.

Uh, I don't think anyone has called that a "tramp stamp" for quite some time. They are so common anymore I didn't know anyone cared.

Nothing wrong with tattoos or piercings, IMO. I'll be getting my first tattoo soon! (already have body piercing)

I went to Vince Neil Ink when I was there last Sept (and bought a tshirt). The tattoos were outrageously priced.

You have spoken to everyone about tramp stamps. Wow I don't have that much free time.
