I don't think Eastside cannery worth $7.99 at all. Their broccoli are so left-over that it is already dark and stale. I don't see any cooks make the food their. I suspect they have somebody outside of the Casino make it. Their desserts all look like super market products. However, they do have all you can drink champaign and beer on Sunday.

i think if you are trying to find a dinner buffet under $10 you will get, pretty much yuck. If we are going to do the buffet route it is lunch and then we skip dinner or just grab an In&Out. Our thing is a really nice weekend brunch which are going to run way over $10.00. For dinner, why do so many people even want all that food? Normally it is over cooked and under seasoned? If it is only $10 and they are serving so many choices, think about it? Where is their profit unless it is at your expense. Even when they cut that slice of rare? roast beef for you, ever thought how much meat that really is or the beautiful dessert? Most of them are more air than solid food. Sorry, I just don't get excited about those types of buffets. I would stick with the lunchtime one.

Nita

^^^^ But $5.00 at In-&-Out is good?

That will do in a hurry, but if I have time an inexpensive buffet is my best bet for variety and value.

^^^^ Yes, you just have to actually read the post above mine! I added the $5.00 because that's what it'll cost at a minimum.

Subway foot-long is also $5.00, and it's a lot healthier than In-Out.

Ok, I have eaten at a lot of Buffets and a lot of retaurants in my, ahem, long life.. And this is what I have found..

A lot of time it DOES NOT matter whether you spend a lot or a little you will get a crappy meal.... It just depends on the cook, the food, the time of day or even the day....

Other side of the coin, you can get a great meal whether you spend a lot or a little.. Again depends on the cook, the food, the time of day or even the day....

I have also found out your taste is NOT necessarily my taste.. You might say a cheap buffett or meal is crap, BUT I might like it..Really like it.. And what you consider good I might think sucks balls....

So go spend tons of money for food and I will continue to spend mine either cheaply or more expensive as I see fit and continue to enjoy it....

I like buffet because I can sample everything before I decide what I want to dive in.
The made-by-order restaurant usually is a 50/50 chance you may or may like the food, especially if it's the first time you order this item. If the food doesn't come out to your liking, that's too bad, you still have to eat it.
