Hello,

This will be a short thread... The mods can delete it after I get an answer.

Its been a while since I was at the World Buffet in the Rio. I can't remember, do they have crab legs? I'm not looking for the best option. Just want to take advantage of the 2 for 1 price with my daughter, and I've got a hankerin' for some legs

Thanks!!

PS, I might also take some clues to a better place to eat, as long as it stays below the $26.99 total for 2 people price.

Sorry, I can't say about the World Buffet but I know for a fact the Rio Seafood Buffet has snow crab legs.

I was at that Carnival World Buffet last weekend. They had crab legs (I didn't partake). It was $33 per.

Need to consider paying a little extra (well actually quite a bit extra) and get the crab legs at the Bellagio. Alaska King Crab legs and they take a band saw and cut them open lengthwise. They are the best in town.

OK, just got home.

Yes, they do have snow crab legs. They weren't the best, but they filled the hole in my soul

Also, its not 2 for 1 pricing for locals, its 50% off. The difference being that they allowed my daughter in for free (She's 5, so that's a good savings), so dinner for both of us was half off 1 adult ticket. Nothing like a $15 buffet for 2, with crab legs

I could have saved you the bother of worrying about the crab legs.

All of the snow crab legs at every buffet in town -- except one -- come in big crates. They're the "seconds" of the Alaskan ophelia crab haul, and some of them were frozen last season, meaning they've gotten a little rubbery.

Buffet crab legs -- except one -- are too salty, and tougher and more rubbery than the good stuff.

That one buffet that does it right, of course, is Sterling Brunch.

Remember, Carnival World buffet has to turn a profit while serving unlimited portions of 120 items for $15 per person. Imagine what they're buying in order to turn a profit...

Oh no, I realize they aren't the best crabs in Vegas. I wasn't looking for that. Just had to feel the need. Kinda like Del Taco kills the need for a taco. I know they aren't "real" tacos, but they do in a pinch.

Where is the Sterling Buffet? I'm going to save my pennies and do the Bellagio Buffet, because I've always heard good things about it (I can't believe I haven't tried it yet actually), but I like your "style" of food choices (Based on what you post ), so I'm going to have to give the Sterling a go, as well.

Sterling is held once a week at Bally's, on Sunday. It's $30 more than the Bellagio buffet and more than twice as good. So, for me it's the best $90 someone can spend in Las Vegas.
