Feds: Full Tilt Poker site was Ponzi scheme - Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 | 12:32 p.m. - Las Vegas Sun

This is something I have always wondered. HOW can you trust a online site not to be rigging the game, and what guarantee you would even get your money.

I know a bunch of people SWEAR by these sites, and have earned a decent 'living' playing online poker... but aren't you all at least concerned where your money actually is going??

Jonathan

that has NOTHING to do with rigging or numbers manipulation. it has to do with mismanagement and bad fiscal decisions.

no one is bagging on online gaming... they are bagging on the business practices of a single online gaming site, and more importantly the very public faces associated with it.

The problem is the U.S. Govt made it illegal, so everything financially goes overseas.

I think something else is at work here, beyond the ponzi scheme.

government made the transfer of monies illegal...

Casinos support legalized online poker - Washington Times

we'll have a up and running system of online gaming for cash within year for sure... I had thought it would be within this year, but it may go into next year 2012. names like MGM, Harrahs, Wynn will all have a piece!

None of the online casino/sportsbooks maintain sufficient funds to make payouts(except for Pinnacle). That's a known fact. I made a large withdrawl from a major offshore book and they had to make payments by installment over several weeks...
