I drove down to Honda West today on Sahara to have a look around with no salesmen....there were no new cars, only used. Anyone know if they are going out of business?

Here is their new car inventory that is on the lot. They have only 14 new cars right now:

Honda West in Las Vegas | Honda Civic, Accord, Insight, CR-V, Fit, or Odyssey | Serving Henderson

You also have to remember the Japanese earthquake has severely crippled new car production, so no, they are not going out of business. This going on all over the country.

They have new cars there but the inventory is small. I bought a honda civic back in 2005 and i got a good deal. The prices on their used cars are pretty decent. If you went down today that means its SUNDAY and they are closed! Try again Monday!

A lot of Japanese exports have been banned from entry in the U.S. due to radiation concerns.

Prices have risen due to lack of availability!

Bought from them in 2006, got the best deal in town. As others have said car dealers closed on Sunday, state law. RAther have prole spend money gambling on a Sunday than buy a car.

Thanks brain surgeon - that is why I said I went down today so there were no salesmen. Question was about the lack of new inventory - thanks for your input. Choke yourself.

May I be the first to suggest simply phoning them Monday?

Short of a Honda West sales manager being a regular reader here, I'd say calling them during weekday business hours is the best way to find what you want to know.

I didn't mean to be a smart ass, but i thought you didn't know that dealers here in NV are closed on Sunday, thus "no salesmen". Sorry for the wrong input.

I've gone there for parts and have been very surprised by the lack of models to choose from also. I've never seen a Honda dealership like this even in the smallest of towns I have lived.
