What do you guys think about Joe Pesci's portrayal of Spilotro in the movie 'Casino'? (I know they called the character by another name, but it was still supposed to be Spilotro.) Was it dead on or was it just Pesci being Pesci?

Funny most of the actors in Casino fit their roles very well and acted the part. Still to this day in most of the casinos you still some of the Suits (upper management ) who look and dress like a Mob type of person
The charm of that is not all gone from LV yet but the generations who remember it are thinning. I guess there was a bit of glamor attached to the old days and today's bunch of gang bangers and etc do not have any glamor just pants below the waist turned hats Tattoos all over their body and big vulgar mouths in public. That **** would have never flew in the old days.

Not only does Pesci's acting fit the role (re: his performance in Goodfellas) but he LOOKED quite a bit like Spilotro.
The original body dummy that was used in the cornfield grave in Casino is on display at the Mob Museum
