You may want to look at local job fairs. We have them fairly often.

I searched on the internet for the position I was looking for and got some addresses. Then I went door to door and put applications in, shook hands and talked to people. Don't give up and keep putting applications in.

Thanks for the scoop markim0 & radraja! Appreciate it....I'll be out there beating the pavement......and trying to get used to the heat of course (it's about 72 here @ the beach in So Cal today). Nice weather, but I can't wait for the move....been packing all day!

thats the same way i did it and it took my 7 days to find a job. there are still lots of jobs out there... for those who actually want to hit the pavement and go get one!
