Just watched this show only because it was mentioned here. I regret it.

The "acting" was so poor in this "reality" show, it was practically unwatchable.

I watched an episode the featured the twins from PT's. The way the show presented them made them look like people I would not want to spend even five minutes with.

I don't think Scott is as bitchy and uptight as he's pretending to be in front of the camera. And, yes, he needs to treat his help a little bit better. He comes off as a money-hungry, Douchebag Extraordinaire when he's screaming at them. That's when I sort of knew the show might be staged. You cannot yell at people and stomp all over their dignity and not get a fist to your jaw, especially when you're dealing with men in the contractor/construction trade. I saw the episode with the so-called "Squatter" and that sealed the deal as far as it being "staged". I wasn't impressed.

When you have work and are hiring people when work is short, you can get away with a lot.

But yes, I think much of this show is staged.

I watched Scott on the Ed Bernstein show a couple of weeks ago. Seems to be a no bull business man.

In spite of what I stated earlier, I still think the show has some entertainment value. I at least DVR the new episodes. I haven't recorded any recently... not sure if it is in between seasons right now.

Goliath is back. Hard at work on a house on Castle Bar in Sun City Summerlin. At the moment they are tearing up the place so it looks bad enough to start filming.

I will run down the history on the place. It is I think a 2500 SF place on the Golf Course. Maybe $350,000 in reasonable condition. Maybe $400K if wonderful. The lot is golf course but not a great one. Let's see what the do with it.

I saw a job listing to be their admin. At first I was like wow, they pay $80k a year for an admin, that will get thousands of applicants. But then thinking of how impossible it must be to work for that guy I doubt its worth it for the unlucky victim who gets the job.
