What are you talking about? Math is constant. It doesn't care about the economy.

I think the author was equating "gambling" with "slot machines" and is implying that they have set the machines to pay out less....

"Either way, mentally prepare for the $5K (or $10K)loss. That way, if it happens..."

If it happens?

But you are typically limited to $300 - $500 per day, arent you?

I'm sure you could work it out with the bank to raise that amount.

Dynimagelv has said the job market in Vegas is limited to qualified people. I am just not one of them. I tried getting the same courier or pca jobs like I have had in Phoenix with zero responses. I never had this kind of horrible luck getting work in Phoenix. I also made more money too. I am going to give this gambling method my best shot, but most likely I will be moving back to Phoenix sometime this summer. It is ok, that is where I was born in and apparently belong.
If the money will truly be better, and more opportunities abound (Phoenix metro has about 4 million am I right? so I assume there's more jobs)

LVD if I'm not mistaken, didnt you do some medical work before in Phoenix? Maybe you could get back into that? Have you tried applying for security on MGM, Caesars, or the Cosmopolitan's? website? Security guards make like $15 an hour here, and get 40 hrs a week. At the very least move to a better apt complex. If you wish to stay close to your current job, look at some places off Warm Springs, or Windmill, even Maryland Parkway south of Windmill has some nice new apartment complexes that you could afford

No, if you go to the cage it can be a point of sale transaction

The casinos will not hire me because of my criminal record.

I see...well LVD if you're truly serious this time (you've said many times before) about going back to Phoenix, I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world if and when you do return home. At least if you go home, you wont have to go anywhere NEAR as far as I'll have to
