My wife and I are planning a trip to Vegas this summer. In my younger years I used to go to Vegas a lot, during which I would always stay on the strip or Fremont. This time if possible I would really like to stay somewhere not in the hustle and bustle.

So I come here to ask for recommendations for a nice, clean place we can stay for around 3 nights. We don't have all the money in the world so conservative pricing would also be appreciated. I have looked online however I would like your thoughts?

Thank You!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Aliante Casino a few times before we moved here. It is a newer Stations Casino in North Las Vegas just off of I-215. We got a deal on our room and paid about $40 per night. Very modern and nice, 25 minutes from the strip though.

How far from the strip did you want to be? My husband's cousin really enjoyed her recent stay at South Point. She stayed there on a special they were having for around $40 a night. I think you can find rates around $60 or so.

Red Rock Casino. My in-laws stayed there and their room was great.

Boulder Station.
Stayed there a million times before I moved here.
Always an enjoyable experience.
Clean rooms---not toooooo far from the strip----close to Lake Mead----close to Hoover Dam.
ADDED BONUS:
Cheap.

Red Rock, Aliante, Santa Fe, Texas Station, and the original Fiesta are good choices, but kind of far from the Strip in case you want to drop over there. In that case I'd say Palace Station, Boulder Station, South Point, or Sam's Town. I'm pretty sure I've seen a Sam's Town shuttle, and probably all Stations Casinos have them too. I'd start by checking out Sam's Town. I like the Mystic Falls Park. Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, Las Vegas - Mystic Falls | SamsTownLV.com

For a somewhat more upscale experience we use the JW Marriott for clients and guests. Very nice laid back place. Only bad part is generally more than $150 a night.
