I've only seen two, but checking your shoes before you put them on, can't hurt.

I had to go to the ER for the spider bite which by day four had grown in size and got a shot of antibiotics for it.
The nurse told me it was a Brown Recluse Spider bite.
But back to my scorpion problem.... any suggestions anyone?

Bark Scorpions are present in Summerlin. They are pretty much an import from AZ in palm trees. Best found in the dark with a black light. Generally localized. I know of a couple of "locations" in Summerlin that have them.

Why the new scorpion push Sheriff? That reference ain't great. While a bark scorpion is potentially deadly I understand the last time it happened was in AZ many years ago. They have a lot more than we do here and still don't lose anybody. It is however a painful and annoying bite. So whack them with something. They are easy to kill.

Yes if I hadn't gone to the ER by the 3rd or 4th day, my calf would have looked like that guy's thumb on day 9.
My bite looked exactly like http://thefuntimesguide.com/images/b...-recluse-7.jpg.

No scorpion push, another claims to have been bitten by a brown recluse, yet fears scorpions. There is a close relative of the brown recluse in NV, but no brown recluse---their bite produces horrendous results.

Do pest bombs kill any Scorpion nests that may be inside the walls of a condo?

Keep the liquor handy; a drunk scorpion is a dead scorpion: Pest Control Las Vegas, Henderson cockroaches ants (http://www.elitepestcontrolnv.com/funbugfacts/ - broken link) This kind of makes me hope to find one soon.

Now I find that funny! Still I've got a problem here. I really don't know what to do. I'm just hoping my condo didn't get thrashed by someone who got bitten by a scorpion on the premises.
